Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal!

Yum.

Every single day I indulge in this beautiful creation. Not skipping a single day I’m totally hooked to my dear lovely bowl of peanut butter banana oatmeal.

I love it not just because its healthy — oh no it is so much more than that! Giving me the happy feels and making my mood ten times better every single day it is my number one comfort food!

Why Is Food Such A Comfort?

“Comfort foods provide a temporary sense of well being, and they make a person feel good. Foods high in sugar, fat, or salt tend to elevate mood by stimulating the brain’s reward system.”

Every time I’m overwhelmed and stressed out I go for my peanut butter banana oatmeal, so calming and so very delicious, it is my happy drug. I legitimately feel better every time.

No joke.

Its not just for the pleasure of the taste, it is also food for my brain.

Quick And Easy To Whip Up

First, let me share my recipe;

  1. 40 grams of Oats
  2. 1/2 cup of 2% Milk
